ミッション Mission Statement
Our goal here at Busy Bee Books is to keep the medium of picture books alive!
As our world rushes toward the future try to remember those things that you used to read as a kid (I still read them now) and remember how they made you feel. How you used to read them over and over again and how even though you had all the words memorized you still asked to be read the same book every night.
Busy Bee Booksの活動の目的は簡単：絵本文化を守る事です。
大人になって、だんだん未来の方に見る事が多いと思いますが小さい頃に読んだ絵本は今でも読んでいますか？自分の子どもに読んでいますか？子どもいなくても落ち込んでいる時に読んでいますか？昔大好きだった絵本は今の家にありますか？
It is also a proven fact children who are read to from an early age do better in school. But it makes sense if you think about it. By reading to kids you can help them improve thier abilty to process information, create images in their head and also spark their imaginitivity. Reading to kids is also the first step to kids picking up books later on and reading for pleasure.
読み聞かせをされた子ども達は学校に良くのびると言います。当たり前の事なんですね。
読み聞かせのおかげで子ども達が想像力、必要と必要じゃない事の分け方、集中力が高いです。
絵本は読書の世界にの一歩ですね。
In recent years humans have been wandering from the written word. With movies taking books to the big screen people are reading less and less. Also as people become more and more busy parents are not reading with their children as much as they used to be. "You are old enough to read that book by yourself." Is probably a common phrase heard in any house. Next time you are tempted to say that remember one thing: Your kid doesn't only want to hear that story for the million'th time, they also want to spend time with you. Put that in your thinking cap. ;0)
最近、人間は文字離れになっています。原作の本より、映画で観る、知る方が多いと思います。
現代人は忙しくて、昔の生活に比べたら読み聞かせしてないと思います。「もう自分で文字わかるから自分で読んで。」と言う親もいると思います。
もしその事言いそうになったらこれを考えてください：子どもがその絵本の話はもちろん聞きたいと思いますがそれより親と一緒にスキンシップの時間が欲しいとおもいます。：）
